<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />W ASTEW ATER RATE - SCHEDULE RS-1 <br />(RURAL CUSTOMERS) <br /> <br />EXHIBIT B PAGE 2 OF 3 <br /> <br />Applicable: <br />To any customer using wastewater services and being served through a single water meter, unless <br />wastewater is separately measured, and within the corporate lirnits of the City. Service will be furnished <br />under this rate schedule subject to the established rules and regulations ofthe City covering this type of <br />servIce. <br /> <br />Rate: <br />RS-IA:5/8-3/4 Inch Water Meter: <br />First 2,000 gallons - $25.49 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 2,000 gallons - $7.34 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br /> <br />RS-IB: I-Inch Water Meter: <br />First 4,000 gallons - $50.90 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 4,000 gallons - $7.34 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br /> <br />RS-IC: 1-1/2 Inch Water Meter: <br />First 8,000 gallons - $101.78 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 8,000 gallons - $7.34 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br /> <br />RS-ID: 2-Inch Water Meter and greater: <br />First 13,000 gallons - $162.87 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 13,000 gallons - $7.34 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br /> <br />Maximum Bill: <br />No additional charge will be applied to a single-family Residential Customers for volumes in excess of <br />8,000 gallons for the RS-IA, RS-IB, RS-IC rate categories. <br /> <br />Single Point of Delivery: <br />The above rates are based upon the supply of water to the entire premises through a single delivery and <br />metering point. A separate supply of water for the sarne consurner at other points of consumption shall be <br />separately metered and billed. <br /> <br />Optional Methodology for Measurement of Use by Industrial Users: <br />An industrial user that uses a 2-inch or larger meter may submit a written request for the use of a <br />methodology to determine the amount of wastewater services used other than metering of water or <br />wastewater use. The methodology must be designed to charge the user for actual wastewater service use, <br />and is subject to approval by the Director of Water/ Wastewater Utility Operations. If approved, the <br />methodology will be used for a period of three years, subject to renewal upon submission by the user of a <br />renewal request accompanied by updated methodology information, and approval by the Director of <br />Water/ Wastewater Utility Operations. For this purpose, "industrial user" is defined as a manufacturing or <br />industrial operation. <br />
