<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Part 3 <br />Minimum Hardware Requirements <br /> <br />If you are using existing equipment or obtaining equipment from a third-party, you will need to meet the <br />following requirements: <br /> <br />Dedicated Webserver (for single or multiple sites with more than 10 workstations): <br />The Library Corporation highly recommends a dedicated Webserver for a single or multiple site library <br />system with 10 or more workstations The Webserver is recommended for use with Library-Solution <br />for maintaining Intranet and Intemet activities. <br /> <br />The recommended hardware requirements for the Webserver are Pentium 111500 MHz, 128 MB RAM <br />(256 MB recommended), liS version 3 or later (recommended liS 4 loaded from Option Pack), 9 GB of <br />total drive space with at least 500 MB of free drive space for web pages and the accumulation of log <br />files, 3.5" diskette drive, 16X CD-ROM drive, standard keyboard, 14" VGA monitor, mouse, Windows <br />NT Server (v4.0). <br /> <br />Technical Services Workstation: <br />The minimum hardware specifications for a Library-Solution workstation are Pentium 11233 MHz, 64 <br />MB RAM (128 MB recommended), 2 GB hard drive, 3.5" diskette drive, 16X CD-ROM drive, standard <br />keyboard, 14" SVGA monitor (with at least 800 X 600 pixels), mouse, Windows NT Workstation (v4.0), <br />Windows 2000, or Windows XP. <br /> <br />Note: If Remote Desktop Web Connection (RDWC) is installed, then older workstations or terminal <br />client devices may be used if they support 256 colors and are configured with a TCIP/lP network <br />connection and RDWC client software.
