D. Additional Services: The CITY, at its discretion, may request the CONSULTANT to attend additional meetings or perform other work beyond the scope of services outlined in Section I of this Contract which are considered necessary, by the CITY, to complete the update of the Master Plan. Compensation for these additional services will be based on the CONSULTANT'S standard Schedule of Charges for miscellaneous projects, as attached and dated September, 1980, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by and between the CITY and the CONSULTANT. v. PERSONNEL The CONSULTANT represents that it has, or will secure at its own expense all personnel required in performing the CONSULTANT services under this contract. Such personnel shall not be employees of or have any contractual relationship with the CITY. The CONSULTANT will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The CONSULTANT shall take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Such action shall include, but not be limited to the following: employment, upgrading, demotions or transfers, recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoffs or termination; rates of payor other forms of compensation; selection for training including apprenticeship; and participation in recreational and educational activities. The CONSULTANT agrees to post in conspicuous places, available to employees and applicants for employment, notices to be provided by the government setting forth the provisions of this nondiscrimination clause. the CONSULTANT will in all solicitations or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of the CONSULTANT, state that all qualified 6
