Facilities Within Subdivisioll. The subdivider shall, at <br />his ov;n cost, declica te such riqh t-of-\v'ay Zlnu cons tCJct <br />suel1 storm se\\1ers, d:::-ainJgc ditches, sanitury se'~'/eL-3, <br />water mains, and water lines of such a size as to adequately <br />serve the area being subdi'!idcd; hO~lever, if the City <br />should requi=e the dedication of additional right-of-way <br />or the construction of storm sewers, drainage ditches, <br />sanitary sewers, or water mains of a size greater than <br />set out above, then, the City shall within one year after <br />date of a9proval of the final construction plans, provided <br />construction has been completed within such one year <br />period and in a~cordance with approved construction plans, <br />reimburse the subdivider for any increased cost of such <br />facili ties. <br /> <br />B. Ex tension of City F aci li ties. r,'lhere it is necess ar~J, in <br />order to properly serve the slIDdivision, that extension of <br />existing City utilities be made or that drainage facilities <br />be constructed outside the subdivision, which extension or <br />such facilities are here referred to as "off-site improve- <br />men ts," the subdivider shall install such off-si te"i.mprovemen ts <br />of such a size as to adequately serve the area beinq subdjvided <br />at his own expense; hm-,ever, if the Ci ty should require the <br />construction of off-site :Lrrnrovements of a size great.er th~ln set <br />out above, then, the City ~hall within one year after date <br />of approval of the final construction plans, reimburse the <br />subdivider for any increased cost of such facilities. <br /> <br />II. EXTENSIONS WHEN NO REPLATTING OF PROPERTY IS NECESSARY <br /> <br />A. The City will pay for the first one hundred feet (100') <br />of any utility extension provided that: <br /> <br />1) the extension is made to serve at l~ast one <br />dwelling and construction is begun on that <br />dwelling within ninety (90) days of the <br />com[Jletion of the extension. <br /> <br />2) the exte:nsicn is of a size which lS in confor- <br />mance wit.h the City of San Marcos Master plan <br />for utility development. <br /> <br />3) [or extensions of more than one hundred feet <br />(100'), the developer pays the total cost <br />for line extension beyond t.he first one hundred <br />feet (100') for lines of un to eight inches (u") <br />For lines of a size of mor~ than eight inches <br />
