Gonzalez, <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />,3UBJECT: Ci ty 1 s Extens ion Po 1 icy <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />December 17, 1980 <br /> <br />RE: City's Extension Policy <br /> <br />As was discussed at the last City Council meeting, we are proposing the <br />following amendment to the City's Extension Policy: for water or sewer <br />extensions in excess of 100 feet in length, the City Manager may elect <br />to enter into an agreement with the builder for the City to provide labor <br />and equipment to construct the total project with the builder paying the <br />City, in advance of such construction, the estimated cost of materials <br />to be used in the construction plus labor and equipment costs for all con- <br />struction exceeding the first 100 feet of the project. It is understood <br />that in all cases the City has the final authority to determine the <br />specifications for all improvements, the sizing of the improvements re- <br />quired to serve a proposed development, the sizing of the improvements re <br />quired to serve anticipated development, and the estimated cost of provid <br />materials, labor, and equipment required for such improvements. <br /> <br />:r <br />:> <br /> <br />ACG:mlc <br /> <br />CSM-l00 <br />
