<br />SECTION 2. That the said official canvas of the returns <br />of said election reflects the following: <br /> <br />A. That the official canvass of the returns of <br />said election reflects that the following <br />person was duly elected Mayor of the City <br />of San Marcos: <br /> <br />Emmie Craddock <br /> <br />B. That the official canvass of the returns of <br />said election reflects that the following <br />person was duly elected Council Member, Place <br />Five for the City of San Marcos: <br /> <br />Jaime Moore <br /> <br />C. That the official canvass of the returns of <br />said election reflects that the following <br />person wa~ duly elected Council Member, Place <br />Six for the City of San Marcos: <br /> <br />Gerald G. Farr <br /> <br />D. That the official canvass of the returns of <br />said election reflects that the terms and <br />conditions of a lease of outdoor storage / <br />bathroom portion of the recreational building <br />in the San Marcos City Park together with <br />access to the parking lot adjacent thereto, <br />to the Lions Club of San Marcos, Texas, were <br />adopted by a majority of the qualified <br />voters voting at said election~ <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That the necessity of making an official canvass <br />of votes cast in the aforesaid election and declaring the results <br />of said election creates an emergency and an imperative purpose <br />necessary that the provisions of the Charter requiring that <br />ordillnances shall be read at three separate meetings and that no <br />ordinance shall become effective until the expiration of ten (10) <br />days following the date of its final passage be suspended, and <br />these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall <br />take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its <br />adoption and publication in a newspaper of general circulation <br />within the City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 5th day of April <br /> <br />, 1982. <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Emmie Craddock <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />s K.
