<br />-10- <br /> <br />Sec. 7 1/2-12. <br /> <br />Recourse <br /> <br />If any person is aggrieved by the decision of <br />the Board of Adjustments and Appeals, nothing in <br />this code shall be construed to deprive him of <br />seeking redress in the civil court of the State <br />of Texas. Said appeal must be filed within thirty <br />(30) days from the effective date of the Board's <br />final decision. <br /> <br />Sec. 7 1/2-13. <br /> <br />Severability. <br /> <br />If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, <br />phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason <br />held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of com- <br />petent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a <br />separate, distinct and independent provision and such <br />holding sBall not affect the validity of the remaining <br />portions thereof. <br /> <br />Sec. 7 1/2-14. <br /> <br />Penalty <br /> <br />Any person violating any provision of this chapter <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be deemed <br />guilty of a separate offense for each day or portion <br />thereof during which any violation hereof is committed, <br />continues or is permitted, and upon conviction of any <br />such violation shall be punished by a fine not to ex- <br />ceed two hundred dollars($200.00). <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
