49 RESOLUTION 1982-57R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO A & A LAWN ~ffiINTENANCE AND LANDSCAPING FOR PROVISION OF MAINTENANCE AT THE SAN ~ffiRCOS CE~ffiTERY FROM OCTOBER 1, 1981, TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1982, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on August 25, 1981, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas contracted with A & A Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping,a partnership consisting of Allen Goldapp and Alberto Ramirez, to provide maintenance at the San Marcos Cemetery from October 1, 1981, to September 30, 1982; and, WHEREAS, on October 11, 1982, the City of San Marcos, Texas, received a request for final payment on said contract from Allen Goldapp, said request in the amount of $2150.04; and, WHEREAS, Dinah Elwell, Director of Administrative and Public Services for said City, on October 14, 1982, recommended payment of said $2150.40, stating the contractor had substan- tially complied with the terms of said contract; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereby finds and determines that A & A Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping has substantially complied with that contract for maintenance at the San Marcos Cemetery entered into on August 25, 1982; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That $2150.04 be paid to A & A Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping, a partnership consisting of Allen Goldapp and Alberto Ramirez, as final payment for maintenance at the San l1arcos Cemetery from October 1, 1981, to September 30, 1982.
