Womack <br />Mark Taylor <br />Ross Allegro <br />Collette Jamison <br /> <br />Also present: Jan Clark, Jenny Habingreither, Stephanie Garcia, Shelley <br />Goodwin and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance <br />on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />ORDERING A GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MAY 3, 2003 FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF ELECTING A CITY COUNCIL MEMBER, PLACE 5, AND A CITY COUNCIL MEMBER <br />PLACE 6; ESTABLISHING EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS AND POLLING PLACES FOR <br />THIS ELECTION; MAKING PROVISIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE ELECTION; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Mayhew moved for adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading, <br />and Ms. Tatum seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was <br />recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Mihalkanin, Narvaiz, Habingreither, Mayhew and Tatum. <br /> <br />NAY: Montoya. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the <br />Government Code, Section 551.074, to discuss the employment of public <br />officers (City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk and Municipal Court <br />Judge-employment contracts). Mr. Mihalkanin moved the Council adjourn <br /> <br />* Mr. Taylor was absent from this meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
