<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br />SEWER RATE -- SCHEDULE SC-l <br />(Commercial and Industrial Customers) <br /> <br />Applicable: <br /> <br />To all consumers using City sewerage services for a commercial and/ <br />or industrial business establishment, governmental establishment or <br />an educational institution. Service will be furnished under this <br />rate schedule subject to the established rules and regulations of <br />the City covering this type of service. <br /> <br />Rate: <br /> <br />$4.00 for the first 2,000 gallons of water usage or less. <br /> <br />$0.59 per thousand gallons for all additional gallons of water usage. <br /> <br />The monthly bill for service furnished under this rate schedule to a <br />commercial and/or industrial business establishment, governmental <br />establishment, or educational institution providing water service to <br />its premises shall be computed by applying the commercial and <br />industrial sewage rate (SC-l) to the total number of gallons of <br />water usage for the month. Water usage for said institution or <br />establishment furnishing water to its premises shall be determined <br />from the figures provided to the Division of Water Hygiene of the <br />Texas Department of Health in the Monthly Report of Waterworks <br />Operation. <br /> <br />Minimum Bill: <br /> <br />$4.00 per month. <br /> <br />Delayed Payment: <br /> <br />All bills for sewer service shall be paid on or before the tenth (lOth) <br />day of the month in which the bill is rendered. A delinquent service <br />charge equal to 10% of the bill amount shall be added upon failure or <br />refusal of the customer to pay any bill on or before the tenth (lOth) <br />day of the month in which the bill is rendered. <br /> <br />Reconnection Policy: <br /> <br />The failure to pay all bills for sewer service furnished to any <br />consumer within the time stipulated for such payment shall be deemed <br />notice for the discontinuance of sewer service, and water shall be <br />cut off an shall not be cut on again until all bills, including <br />delinquent service charges, are paid in full, together with a <br />reconnection fee of $10.00 per meter for regular hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) <br />reconnection, or $15.00 per meter for after-hours (5 p.m. - 8 a.m.) <br />reconnection, plus any applicable deposit fee. The water service shall <br />be discontinued as to all uses thereof for those consumers who fail to <br />pay for the same as herein provided within thirty (30) days after the <br />of billing. No service shall be discontinued prior to notice to said <br />consumer stating the consumer's right to dispute any portion of the bill. <br />
