<br />87 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1982-65R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A SUBLEASE BETWEEN <br />SAID CITY AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA <br />FOR PROPERTY ACQUIRED FROM E~1.r,1ETTF .:MCCOY <br />FOR A SITE FOR AN OUTER MARKER FOR RUNWAY <br />12 AT THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE ~ffiYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE <br />SAID SUBLEASE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, intends to <br />acquire a site for the location of an outer marker for Runway <br />12 at the San Marcos Municipal Airport by means of leasing <br />said site for a twenty-year period from Emmett F. McCoy; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Resolution approving the terms and conditions <br />of an Agreement of a Lease between the City of San Harcos and <br />Emmett F. McCoy for said land has been adopted on this date; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City wishes to sublease said land it shall <br />acquire from Emmett F. McCoy to the United States of America; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the Sublease <br />between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and the United States <br />of America for a site for the outer marker for Runway 12 at <br />the San Marcos Municipal Airport, a copy of which Sublease is <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and <br />purposes, be and the same are hereby approved in all respects. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />Emmie Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized to execute <br />said Sublease on behalf of said City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
