<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />228. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2006- 53 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING A ROUTINE AIRPORT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br />GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE TEXAS <br />DEP ARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF <br />THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On August 29, 1996 the Texas Department of Transportation ("TxDOT") <br />Implemented the Routine Airport Maintenance Program ("RAMP") to assist with routine <br />maintenance for general aviation airports. <br /> <br />2. The City has participated in the RAMP program since 1997. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached FY-2006 RAMP Grant Agreement with TxDOT forroutine <br />maintenance of the San Marcos Municipal Airport is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. <br />City is approved. <br /> <br />The expenditure of approximately $30,000.00 in local matching funds by the <br /> <br />P ART 3.
