You are invited to submit a Proposal Response to some or all of the services listed below: . Local T eleco Services . Long Distance Services . Point-to-Point T1 Services The City of San Marcos appreciates your time and effort in preparing this proposal. Please note that all proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "DO NOT OPEN- Proposal-" Local, Long Distance, and Point-to-Point T1 Services" and received by the City Clerk's Office, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666 no later than January 1-7-9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for all prospective proponents on January 3,2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers. While this pre-proposal conference is not mandatory, it is in the proponent~s' best interest to attend since it is the only time the proponent will be allowed to review the switch room layout prior to proposal due date. Proposals will be publicly acknowledged in the City Hall Council Chambers at 2:00 p.m. on January 17, 2006 Central Standard Time. All addendums and tabulations can only be viewed at www.qovbids.com and clicking on the Texas E-Purchasing Group link. Award is scheduled for the February 21, 2006 City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. or any subsequent time thereafter. IT IS UNDERSTOOD that the City of San Marcos reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals as it deems to be in the best interest of the City.
