<br />NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, at its <br />meeting to commence at 7:00 P.M. on March 1, 1999, at its regular meeting place in the City Hall, <br />630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas, tentatively proposes to authorize the issuance of interest <br />bearing certificates of obligation of said City in total maximum principal amount not exceeding <br />$2,500,000, for the public purpose of paying contractual obligations to be incurred for renovating <br />and improving streets, including purchase of necessary materials, supplies and equipment. The City <br />presently proposes to provide for the payment of such certificates of obligation by the levy of ad <br />valorem taxes and a pledge of revenues of the City's waterworks and sewer system. <br /> <br />il..\$.":'.MARICO.9'l\OOCS\R...
