RESOLUTION 2012- 12 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PROCUREMENT OF <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FROM COOPER CONSULTING <br />COMPANY IN ORDER TO UPGRADE THE CURRENT MAXIMO <br />COMPUTERIZED MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR <br />THE CITY'S PUBLIC SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$164,986.00 THROUGH THE TEXAS COMPTROLLER OF PUBLIC <br />ACCOUNT'S DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION RESOURCES ( "DIR ") <br />DELIVERABLES BASED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES <br />( "DBITS ") PROGRAM (CONTRACT DIR -SDD -866); AUTHORIZING <br />THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE <br />PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The procurement of professional services from Cooper Consulting <br />Company in order to upgrade the current Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management <br />System for the City's Public Services Department in the amount of $164,986.00 through the <br />Texas Comptroller of Public Account's DIR/DBITS Program (Contract DIR - SDD -866) is <br />approved. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to execute <br />appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
