<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1980-30R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING <br />POLLING PLACES AND APPOINTING ELECTION <br />OFFICIALS FOR THE SPECIAL CITY ELECTION <br />TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY, MAY 10, 1980 IN <br />SAID CITY. <br /> <br />132 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, has declared <br />and ordered that a Special Election shall be held on Saturday, May <br />10, 1980 in said City for the purpose of electing a Mayor and Council <br />Members for Places 1 and 2 on the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council now wishes to designate polling places and presiding <br />judges in connection with said Hay 10, 1980 Special Election; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of San <br />Marcos, Texas: <br /> <br />PART 1. That this City having eleven election precincts, said election <br />shall be held at the following places ln said City: <br /> <br />In Election Precinct #11, at Dunbar Center; <br />In Election Precinct #12, at Guadalupe Center; <br />In Election Precinct #13, at San Marcos High School; <br />In Election Precinct #20, at Bugg Lane Fire Station; <br />In Election Precinct #30, at Crockett School; <br />In Election Precinct #33, at Public Library; <br />In Election Precinct #34, at Holland Fire Station; <br />In Election Precinct #36, at American Lutheran Church; <br />In Election Precinct #44, at Woods Homes Auditorium; <br />In Election Precinct #45, at San Marcos Dept. of Public Safety; and <br />In Election Precinct #46, at Travis Elementary School. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the following officials are hereby appointed to administer <br />said Election: <br /> <br />In Election Precinct #11, with Elida Mendez as Presiding Judge and <br />Nelvia Burleson as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge <br />is hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #12, with Joe Gonzales as Presiding Judge and <br />Herminia Flores as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge <br />is hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #13, with Rose Brooks as Presiding Judge and <br />Elsie Garcia as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge <br />is hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #20, with Margie Villalpando as Presiding Judge and <br />Elizabeth Champagne as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding <br />Judge is hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #30, with Johnnie Armstead as Presiding Judge and <br />Francisca Munoz as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge <br />is hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #33, with Irene Trinidad as Presiding Judge and <br />Mrs. Robert Finnie as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge <br />is hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #34, with r1ary L. Thornton as Presiding Judge and <br />Aart Millecam as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge <br />is hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #36, with Susan Jarrett as Presiding Judge and <br />Ofelia Vasquez as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge <br />is hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #44, with Walter Myers as Presiding Judge and <br />Estella Lerma as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge <br />is hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #45, with Clara Storey as Presiding Judge and <br />Mary Cude as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge is <br />hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Election Precinct #46, with William Liddle as Presiding Judge and <br />Vivian Rinn as Alternate presidinq Judge, and said Presiding Judge is <br />hereby authorized to appoint a maximum of two election clerks; <br />In Central Counting Station, with Aart Millecam as Central Counting <br />Judge. <br />
