13 Section 108-Violations and Penalties Any person, firm, corporation or agent who shall violate a provision of this code or fail to comply therewith, or with any of the requirements thereof, or who shall erect, construct, alter, demolish or move any structure, or has erected, constructed, altered, repaired, moved or demolished a building or structure in violation of this Code shall be guilty of a misdemeaIlor_- Each person, firm, corporation or agent shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of this Code is committed, or continued and upon conviction of any such violation such person, firm, corporation or agent shall be punished by a fine of up to two hundred dollars ($200.00). Prosecution or conviction under this provision shall never be a bar to any other remedy or relief for violation of this code. I Section 306.1 Required Space in Dwelling Unit Every dwelling unit shall contain at least four hundred (400) square feet of floor space. The floor area shall be calculated on the basis of the total area of all habitable rooms. SECTION 2. That the importance of this ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative purpose necessary that the provisions I of the charter requiring that ordinances shall be read on three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisons are hereby suspended, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City.
