<br />-~- <br /> <br />medical and insurance benefits, sick leave, vacation and holiday <br /> <br />pay applicable thereto. For the purpose of this Agreement, the <br /> <br />"payroll cost" is defined as the direct salary cost times l.25 <br /> <br />(d.s.c. x 1.25 = payroll cost). <br /> <br />The hourly rate of the Engineer's <br /> <br />principals is as indicated. <br /> <br />I REPRESENATIVE DIRECT SALA:RY COST DIRECT'SALARY COST <br />(Standard Hourly Rates) <br /> Reistered Engineer $9.00 to 11. 00 <br /> Engineering Aides 7.50 to 10.50 <br /> Technicians and Drafters 4.50 to 8.25 <br /> Secretaries and Clerical 4.00 to 6.50 <br /> <br />This schedule shall remaln in effect for eighteen (18) months, but <br /> <br />may then be changed by the Engineer at any time thereafter with t~irty <br />(30) days written notification to the City. <br /> <br />ARTICLE V. <br />AGREEMENT NOT ASSIGNABLE <br /> <br />This Agreement shall not be assignable in whole or in part <br /> <br />without the consent of City. Engineer binds himself, successors, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />executors, administrators and assigns to City and to successors or <br /> <br />assigns of City in respect to all covenants of this Agreement and, <br /> <br />City binds itself, its successors and assigns to Engineer in respect <br /> <br />to all covenants of this Agreement. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI. <br />TERMINATION OF AGREEHENT <br /> <br />In connection with all the work outlined or contemplated above, <br /> <br />it is agreed that City or Engineer may cancel or terminate this agree- <br /> <br />ment immediately upon written notice to the other party. <br /> <br />Upon recelpt <br /> <br />of any such notice, Engineer shall, unless the notice directs otherwise, <br /> <br />immediately discontinue all services in connection with the performance <br /> <br />of this agreement and shall proceed to cancel promptly all existing <br />II orders and contract insofar as such orders or contracts are charged <br />to this agreement. As soon as practicable after receipt of notice of <br /> <br />termination, Engineer shall submit a statement, showing in detail the <br /> <br />servlces performed under this agreement to the date of termination. <br /> <br />The City shall then pay Engineer promptly that portion of the prescribed <br /> <br />fee which the services actually performed under this agreement bear to <br /> <br />the total services called for under this agreement, less such payments <br /> <br />on accQunt o~ the fee as have been previously made.
