I I I 36 THE STATE OF TEXAS x X X LEASE AGREEMENT THE COUNTY OF CALDWELL KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Texas, acting by authority granted its Mayor Kenneth V. Kraus by Resolution 1980- , adopted by the City Council of said City on June 16, 1980, hereinafter referred to as "City" and Aerobatic Club of America, Inc., here- inafter referred to as "Lessee" enter into this lease aqreement for the mutual benefit of the parties consisting of the following term and conditions: 1. For and ln consideration of Lessee selecting San Marcos, Texas as the site for its 1980 national aerobatic competition and the benefits to be derived from the presence of Lessee's competitors and attendant personnel for a seven day period in the vicinity of San Marcos, City hereby grants Lessee permission to use that real property owned by City and known as the San Marcos Municipal Airport, consisting of concrete aprons, runways, and airspace, for a period of seven (7) days during the year 1980. Lessee shall be allowed to use said premises in the year 1980 from 12:01 a.m. on the sixth day of October until 12:00 a.m. on the thirteenth day of October. Sufficient time not to exceed three (3) days prior to and three (3) days after shall be allowed for assembly and disassembly of facilities. The term "lease period" as used ln this Agreement shall mean the period of time from 12:01 a.m. on the third day of October, 1980 to 12:00 a.m. on the sixteenth day of October, 1980. II. It is agreed that permission to use the property herein granted to Lessee is for the purpose of conducting aerobatic competition and related activities.
