<br />[ <br />~ <br />I <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />-----... <br /> <br />43 <br /> <br />Ar~ENDfvILlH NO. 1 TO CONTR/\(' T FOR PLANN I NlI SERV ICES <br /> <br />The contract for Planning/.'Services entered into on the 10UI day of <br />March, 1980, by and between t~8 City of San Marcos, Texas, and Freese <br />and Nichols, Inc. is hereby amended as set forth hereinunder. The said <br />Contract is attached as Exhibit I. <br /> <br />1. Paragraph 2, Character and Extent of Services, as shown ln <br />the original agreement (Exhibit I) shall be modified as set <br />forth herein as follows: <br /> <br />a. Phase I of Section 2A and schedule of Phase I tas~s, labeled <br />Exhibit A and included in the Contract, shall be amended to <br />include: <br /> <br />1) 27 additional hours and 5 additional trips in the accom- <br />plishment of task 5 of Phase I, aiding the staff in the <br />development of the scope of the Master Plan, schedule, <br />task assignment, and Phase II, scope of services. <br /> <br />2) 2,ladditional hours and 3 additional trips in the aC,_Jm- <br />pl ishment of tasks 1, 2 and 3 of Phase I, the development <br />and approval of an interim subdivision and zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />3) A further breakdown of items 1) and 2) above is incl~rled <br />as Exhibit II. <br /> <br />b. Section 28 of said Contract, titled Subsequent Phase, shall <br />be amended to include the services to be performed in Phase II, <br />as approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on June 2, 1980, <br />and detailed in the Phase II Schedule of Tasks, Exhibit III. Such <br />services shall include: <br /> <br />1) Additional work in getting Phase II scheduled and approved. <br /> <br />2) Developing and holding the first phase of citizen parti- <br />cipation workshops and meetings. <br /> <br />3) Complete the final revisions of the Interim Subdivision <br />and Zoning Ordinances and attend meetings of the various <br />boards in the approval process. <br /> <br />4) Finish development of the land use and housing strateoy, <br />and technical advice during the performance of the land use <br />and housing survey by the staff. <br /> <br />5) Finish the development of the formdt of the traffic and <br />right-of-way study and technical advice during the performance <br />of the traffic and right-of-way survey by the staff. <br /> <br />6) Preparation of the Phase III schedule, and attenda~ce <br />at meetings required to approve the schedule, making modi- <br />fications as necessary, <br />
