RESOLUTION NO. 1980-48R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THAT RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 23, 1980 WHICH ORDERED A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD AUGUST 9, 1980, BY PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION OFFICIALS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 69 WHEREAS, a Resolution was adopted on June 23, 1980 which ordered that a Special Election be held Saturday, August 9, 1980; and I WHEREAS, when the aforementioned Resolution was adopted all persons had not been selected to serve as election officials; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed officers for said election: In Election Precinct 11, with Elida Mendez as Presiding Judge and Mrs. Nelvia Burleson as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. In Election Precinct 12, with Joe Gonzales as Presiding Judge and Herminia Flores as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed two clerks. In Election Precinct 13, with Rose Brooks as Presiding Judge and Elsie Garcia as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. I In Election Precinct 20, with Margie Villalpando as Presiding Judge and Elizabeth Champagne as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. In Election Precinct 30, with Mrs. Johnnie Armstead as Presiding Judge and Francisca Munoz as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. In Election Precinct 33, and for Absentee Voting, with Irene Trinidad as Presiding Judge and Mrs. Robbie Finnie as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. In Combined Election Precincts 34 and 36, with Mary Louise Thornton as Presiding Judge and Susan Jarrett as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to asist her which shall not exceed two clerks. In Election Precinct 44, with Cecil Walston as Presiding Judge and Estella Lerma as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed two clerks. I In Election Precinct 45, with Clara Storey as Presiding Judge and Mary Cude as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed two clerks. In Election Precinct 46, with William Liddle as Presiding Judge and Vivian Rinn as Alternate Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed two clerks.
