SEHVICES l\CIW 'M[<:N'I' <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAYS X <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT made, entp u'!d into and executed thlS 16th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />June <br /> <br />, 1980, by and between the City of San Harcos, Texas, <br /> <br />a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of <br /> <br />the State of Texas and situated in Hays County, Texas, actlnq <br /> <br />through authority conferred on Mayor Kenneth V. Kraus by a <br /> <br />Resolution duly enacted on June 16, 1980, hereinafter "Sponsor" <br /> <br />and Charles willis & Associates, Inc. hereinafter "Consultant". <br /> <br />IvHEREAS, the SPONSOR desires to undertake an Airport Master <br /> <br />Plan Study at San Marcos Municipal Airport, hereinafter called <br /> <br />the PROJECT; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the SPONSOR desires to obtain professional con- <br /> <br />sulting services in connection with the PROJECT, such serVlces <br /> <br />to include those presented in the Program Narrative attached <br /> <br />hereto; <br /> <br />.WHEREAS, the CONSULTANT is qualified and capable of per- <br /> <br />forming the engineering services proposes herein, is acceptable <br /> <br />to the SPONSOR, and is willing to enter an agreement with the <br /> <br />SPONSOR to perform such serVlces; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the parties hereto <br /> <br />do mutually agree as follows: <br /> <br />ARTICLE 1. <br />EMPLOYMENT OF THE CONSULTANT <br /> <br />1.1 The SPONSOR agrees to retain the CONSULTANT, and the <br /> <br />CONSULTANT agrees to perform engineering services in connection <br /> <br />with the PROJECT as set forth in the followinq sections. The <br /> <br />SPONSOR agrees to pay, and the CONSULTANT agrees to accept <br /> <br />fees as specified in sections following as full and final compensa- <br /> <br />tion for the work accomplished. <br /> <br />1.1.2 It is expressly agreed that CONSULTANT shall not <br /> <br />begin work on the engineering services descrlbed ln tnis A4reemcnt <br /> <br />until Clty has received written notlfication from the Federal <br /> <br />Aviation Assoclation that funding for PROJECT has been approved. <br /> <br />It is further agreed that the effective date of this Aqreement <br /> <br />shall be the date City receives said notificatlon of FAA approv~l. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br />-.-.--_.. . -..., - ----- <br /> <br />...- '- JFG, ,...-. -... <br />
