I I VI. During time of war or national emergency, City shall have the right to lease the landing area or any part thereof to the United States of America for military or naval use, and if such lease is executed, the provisions of this instrument insofar as they are inconsistent with the provisions of the lease to the Government, shall be suspended. This lease shall be subordinate to the provisions of any existing or future agreement between City and the United States of America relative to the operation or maintenance of Airport the execution of which has been or may be required as a condition precedent to the expenditure of federal funds for the development of the airport. VII. The initial term of this agreement shall be for a period of five (5) years commencing on the date of execution by Flight Operations. The lease may be extended for~additional five (5) year periods upon agreement of the parties to such extension. Such agreement shall be indicated by a written statement executed by both parties at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the term of this agreement and attached to this agreement. If the term is so extended, all of the terms and provisions hereof shall apply to such extended term; provided, however, the consideration to be paid City for the demised premises shall be adjusted to conform to other rentals being charged at Airport. VIII. Flight Operations shall conduct its operation as FBO seven (7) days a week during daylight hours; provided, however, that nothing contained herein shall limit the right of Flight Operations to operate for longer periods of time. IX. Flight Operations shall establish and maintain air-to-ground and ground-to-air communications to accomodate arriving and departing aircraft. 3
