<br />I <br /> <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />VI. <br /> <br />During time of war or national emergency, City shall have <br /> <br />the right to lease the landing area or any part thereof to the <br /> <br />United States of America for military or naval use, and if such <br /> <br /> <br />lease is executed, the provisions of this instrument insofar as <br /> <br /> <br />they are inconsistent with the provisions of the lease to the <br /> <br /> <br />Government, shall be suspended. This lease shall be subordinate <br /> <br /> <br />to the provisions of any existing or future agreement between City <br /> <br /> <br />and the United States of America relative to the operation or <br /> <br /> <br />maintenance of Airport the execution of which has been or may be <br /> <br /> <br />required as a condition precedent to the expenditure of federal <br /> <br /> <br />funds for the development of the airport. <br /> <br />VII. <br /> <br /> <br />The initial term of this agreement shall be for a period <br /> <br /> <br />of five (5) years commencing on the date of execution by Flight <br /> <br /> <br />Operations. The lease may be extended for~additional five (5) <br /> <br /> <br />year periods upon agreement of the parties to such extension. <br /> <br /> <br />Such agreement shall be indicated by a written statement executed <br /> <br />by both parties at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration <br /> <br /> <br />of the term of this agreement and attached to this agreement. If <br /> <br /> <br />the term is so extended, all of the terms and provisions hereof <br /> <br /> <br />shall apply to such extended term; provided, however, the consideration <br /> <br /> <br />to be paid City for the demised premises shall be adjusted to <br /> <br /> <br />conform to other rentals being charged at Airport. <br /> <br />VIII. <br /> <br /> <br />Flight Operations shall conduct its operation as FBO seven <br />(7) days a week during daylight hours; provided, however, that <br />nothing contained herein shall limit the right of Flight Operations <br />to operate for longer periods of time. <br />IX. <br />Flight Operations shall establish and maintain air-to-ground <br />and ground-to-air communications to accomodate arriving and departing <br />aircraft. <br /> <br />3 <br />
