<br />II <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />.~ . <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1980-73-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AWARDING A <br />CONTRACT TO A & A LAWN MAINTENANCE <br />FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE SAN MARCOS <br />CEMETERY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE SAME ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has previously decided <br />to place the maintenance of the cemetery grounds on contract; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has duly advertised for bidders pursuant to <br />the terms and conditions of the contract; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the bid of $39,150 submitted by A & A Lawn Maintenance <br />be accepted and the contract is hereby awarded to the said A & A Lawn <br />Maintenancepursuant to the terms and conditions of the attached <br />contract. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor of said City, Kenneth V. Kraus, or his <br />successor, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute the attached <br />contract on behalf of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />PART 3. That this Resolution shall become effective from and <br />after its approval by the City. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this the 22nd day of September, 1980. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />,.....- lr~ ..
