I I I 43 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL ~'lEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN ~1ARCOS, TEXAS, OCTOBER 16, 1980 PRESENT: Mayor Kenneth V. Kraus Council f'lembers *Karl N. Brown *Robert L. Cavazos *Berry R. James Tess Norris John J. Stokes Ed Tarbutton City Manager City Secretary City Attorney A. C. Gonzalez Doriss Hambrick Barbara Edwards Also Present: Frank Wagner, Craig Farmer, Gerald Farr, Jeff Watkins, Sharyl Werner, Joe Garza, Frances Emery, Jack Major, Terry Lighthouse, Jake Krauskopf, Ada Burke, Robert MacDonald, Betty Wolverton, Sylvia Newsom, Bill Stouffer and others. The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The Hayor introduced for consideration proposed changes to the Interim Zoning Ordinance, a copy of which is attached and made a part of these minutes. A length discussion followed in regards to these chanqes. The r~ayor introduced for consideration proposed changes to the Interim Subdivision Ordinance, a copy of which is attached and made a part of these minutes. Mr. James moved to adopt the changes. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Hayor directed staff to notify the public of a public hearing to be held on Monday, November 3, 1980 at 6:00 p.m. to consider the proposed chanqes to the Interim Zoning Ordinance. ~1r. Stokes moved to refer the Zoning Ordinance to the Planning & Zoning Commission for their recommendations. Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
