<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />48 <br /> <br />regular meeting <br /> <br />page five <br /> <br />october 27, 1980 <br /> <br />The Hayor introduced for consideration an Ordinance on first reading <br />having the following caption: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN lIffiRCOS, <br />TEXAS, ANNEXING TO SAID CITY A CONTIGUOUS TRACT OF LAND <br />CONTAINING 1890 ACRES LOCATED WITHIN THE EXTRATERRITORIAL <br />JURISTICTION OF SAID CITY AND LYING ADJACENT TO PRESENT CITY <br />BOUNDARIES; EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY Llr1ITS OF SAID CITY SO <br />AS TO INCLUDE SAID 1890 ACRES; GRANTING TO THE INHABITANTS <br />OF SAID 1890 ACRES ALL THE RI~HTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER <br />CITIZENS OF SAID CITY; BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE <br />ACTS AND ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTI~E DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes said that the trustee of the Patterson estate had contacted <br />him about the possibility of an agreement between the City and the <br />Patterson estate to limit the height of structures to protect the clear <br />zone requirements for the ILS at the airport as opposed to annexing <br />the land. The City Attorney stated that she would research the question. <br />Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. James <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration Change Order #3 on <br />Gardens Phase II Project. It is attached and made a part <br />minutes. Mr. Cavazos moved to approve the change order. <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />the Victory <br />of these <br />Mr. James <br /> <br />Council recessed to executive session at 10:00 p.m. on motion of Mr. <br />Brown and second of Mrs. Norris to discuss personnel and acquisition of <br />property. The Council reconvened in regular session at 12:00 midnight <br />on motion of Mr. James and second of Mr. Tarbutton. No action was taken. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 12:02 a.m. on motion of Hr.
