l 49 RESOLUTION NO. 1980-77-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE CONTINUA- TION OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE HERITAGE GUILD FOR THE OPERATION OF THE CHARLES S. COCK HOME AS A HOUSE MUSEUM OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND DECL~RING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. I WHEREAS, on February 29, 1977, the City of San Marcos, Texas entered into a contract with the Heritage Guild of the Heritage Association of San Marcos, Inc. for the operation of the Charles S. Cock Home as a house museum open to the public; and, WHEREAS, said contract was subsequently amended on February 28, 1978; and, WHEREAS, said contract provides for an annual review of the agreement which includes a financial accounting; and, WHEREAS, under the terms of said contract the City of San Marcos and the Guild shall determine during said annual review the feasibility of continuing said agreement under the existing terms and conditions; and, WHEREAS, the City and the Guild have reviewed said agreement including the financial accounting; and, WHEREAS, both City and the Guild believe that continuation of said contract under existing terms and conditions is feasible; ilow, ,therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: I PART 1. That the Charles S. Cock Home Service Contract between the City of San Marcos, Texas and the Heritage Guild of the Heritage Association of San Marcos, Inc. for the operation of the home as a house museum open to the public, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and the same is hereby, continued for one year from the effective date of this resolution.
