<br />52 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1980-79-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN I~RCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING FINAL PAY- <br />MENT TO S. CRAIG HOLLMIG, INC., FOR ENGINEER- <br />ING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE INSTALLA- <br />TION AND MODIFICATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS WITHIN <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas contracted with <br />S. Craig Hollmig, Inc. of New Braunfels, Texas on August 29, <br />1979 to provide engineering services to said city in connec- <br />tion with the installation of the traffic signals and the <br />mod_ificatibh of a traffic signal, (in said city) by Hallmark <br />Electrical Contractors; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has made payment of two thousand six <br />hundred seventy five dollars and forty cents ($2,675.40) of <br />the contract sum of four thousand five hundred ten dollars <br />and ten cents ($4,510.10); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the contract between said city and S. Craig <br />Hollmig calls for final payment to be made following the <br />final Project inspection and delivery of revised contract <br />drawings showing work as actually constructed; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joseph D. Blaschke, P.E. of S. Craig Hollmig, <br />Inc. has conducted such a final inpection; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the required contract drawings have been de- <br />livered to Robert E. Minnie, Director of Public Safety for <br />the City of San Marcos; and, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Director Minnie recommends final payment of one <br />thousand eight hundred thirty four dollars and seventy cents <br />($1,834.70); now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />PART 1. That the City of San Marcos is hereby authorized <br />to make final payment in the amount of one thousand eight hundred <br />thirty four dollars and seventy cents ($1,834.70) to S. Craig <br />Hollmig~ Inc. of New Braunfels, Texas for engineering services <br />in connection with the installation of two traffic signals and <br />the modification of one traffic signal within the City of San <br />Marcos by Hallmark Electrical Contractors. <br /> <br />PART 2.
