<br />OF
<br />A PROPOSED ANNEXATION
<br />TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS
<br />OUT OF THE
<br />J. M. VERANEMDI LEAGUE
<br />HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS
<br />
<br />BEING APPROXIMATELY 334 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, ADJOINING THE EXISTING CITY
<br />LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, OUT OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE, AND BEING
<br />MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY r~ETES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
<br />
<br />BEGINNING at the intersection of a North line of State Highway No. 80 with the
<br />centerline of the Blanco River, for the most Southerly corner of the tract herein
<br />described, same being on a Northeasterly line of the said existing City Limits;
<br />
<br />THENCE, leaving the centerline of the said Blanco River in a Westerly direction,
<br />with the North line of the said State Highway No. 80 and the said existing City
<br />Limits, to the Southwest corner of the tract herein described, same being the
<br />South corner of that tract of land conveyed to H. Conrad by I. O. Couch by deed
<br />dated June 16, 1948 and recorded in Volume 141, Page ,283, Hays County Deed Records;
<br />
<br />THENCE, leaving the said State Highway No. 80 in a Northeasterly direction with
<br />a Southeast line of the said existing City Limits to the West corner of that tract
<br />of land conveyed to Robert F. Lovelace by Charlie A. Sellers by deed recorded in
<br />Volume 264, Page 770, Hays County Deed Records, for a Northerly corner of the tract
<br />herein described, same being a re-entrant corner of the said existing City Limits;
<br />
<br />THENCE, in a Southeasterly direction with the said existing City Limits, passing the
<br />South corner of the said Lovelace tract, same being the West corner of that tract
<br />of land conveyed to Edwardo E. Salinas by Wm. Z. Fitzgerald, trustee by deed dated
<br />October 6, 1979 and recorded in Volume 332, Page 574, Hays County Deed Records, and
<br />continuing with the said Salinas line to the Northwest line of River Road, for a
<br />re-entrant corner of the tract herein described;
<br />
<br />THENCE, in a Northeasterly direction with the Northwest line of the said River Road,
<br />a Southeast line of the said Salinas tract, to the most Easterly corner of the said
<br />Salinas tract, for a re-entrant corner of the tract herein described;
<br />
<br />THENCE, leaving the said River Road, in a Northwesterly direction with the North-
<br />easterly lines of the said Salinas tract, passing the North corner of the said
<br />Salinas tract, same being an East corner of the aforementioned Lovelace tract,
<br />and continuing on to the North corner of the said Lovelace tract, for are-entrant
<br />corner of the tract herein described;
<br />
<br />THENCE, continuing in a Southwesterly direction with a Northwest line of the said
<br />Lovelace tract, and the said existing City Limits to the Northeast line of a County
<br />Road, for a re-entrant corner of the said existing City Limits;
<br />
<br />THENCE, in a Northwesterly direction with the Northeast line of the said County Road,
<br />to a re-entrant corner of the said existing City Limits, for a Westerly corner of the
<br />tract herein described;
<br />
<br />THENCE, leaving the said County Road, in a Northeasterly direction, with the said
<br />existing City Limits, crossing Uhland Road, and continuing with a Southeasterly
<br />line of the said existing City Limits, to the South line of the Fairlawn Addition,
<br />a subdivision of record, recorded in Volume 120, Page 268, Hays County Deed Records
<br />for the Northwest corner of the tract herein described;
<br />
<br />THENCE, in a Southeasterly direction with the Southwest line of the said Fairlawn
<br />Addition, being a South line of the said existing City Limits, to the South corner
<br />of the said Fairlawn Addition, for a re-entrant corner of the tract herein described;
<br />
<br />THENCE, in a Northerly direction with an East line of the said existing City Limits
<br />to the most Easterly corner of the said Fairlawn Addition, for the most Northerly
<br />Northeast corner of the tract herein described;
