<br />126 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999- 86 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT REGARDING THE <br />USE OF PARKING SPACES ALONG WOOD STREET <br />BETWEEN THE CITY AND ST. MARK'S EPISCOPAL <br />CHURCH; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. There are 16 diagonal parking spaces on the side of Wood Street adjacent to the <br />St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Approximately one-half of the area of these spaces is <br />occupied by City right-of-way, and the other half is owned by the church. <br /> <br />2. The attached agreement would grant the church control of the eight spaces <br />nearest to the church entrance, and the City would control the other eight spaces <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS; <br /> <br />PART 1. The terms and conditions of the attached letter agreement between the <br />City of San Marcos and St. Mark's Episcopal Church regarding the use of parking spaces <br />along Wood Street are approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the Agreement <br />on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
