<br />199 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999 - q9 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br />RESCINDING APPROVAL FOR A LEASE OF <br />LAND AT THE SAN MARCOS AIRPORT <br />BETWEEN ROBERT E. MUSE, JR. AND THE <br />CITY; APPROVING THE LEASE OF LAND AT <br />THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TO <br />MILES MULLER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO SIGN THE LEASE; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On September 14, 1998, the San Marcos City Council approved a lease of real <br />property at the San Marcos Airport to Robert E. Muse, Jr. for the purpose of constructing <br />a private hangar which would accommodate his private aircraft. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Muse has advised that he is unable to enter into the September 14, 1998 lease <br />agreement <br /> <br />3. Mr. Miles Muller has requested a lease of the same real property previously <br />approved for lease to Mr. Muse, for the purpose of constructing a private hangar for Mr. <br />Muller. <br /> <br />4. The Airport Commission reviewed this request on April 6, 1999, and they <br />unanimously recommended approval of the new lease to Mr. Miles Muller. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The City Council's September 14, 1998 approval of Lease of <br />Unimproved Airport Property for Construction of Hangar between the City and Robert E. <br />Muse, Jr. is rescinded. <br /> <br />PART 2. The attached Lease of Unimproved Airport Property for Construction <br />of Hangar between the City and Miles Muller is approved. <br /> <br />PART 3. The City Manager, Larry D.
