<br />FIELD NOTES <br /> <br />This parcel of land contains 4200 square feet at the San <br />Marcos Airport, and lies wholly within that 1378.3381 acre San <br />Marcos Airport tract out of the William Pettus Two League Grant, <br />Caldwell County, Texas, as shown on that plat dated 12 September <br />1989 by Charles R. Swart, Surveyor. This parcel is shown on a <br />plat dated 11 May 1999 by Charles R. Swart, Surveyor, and is <br />described by metes and bounds in the following paragraphs. Each <br />aluminum capped iron monument noted is a 5/8 inch diameter iron <br />bar, 26 inches long, with a 2 inch diameter aluminum cap marked <br />SAN MARCOS AIRPORT <br />1999 <br />(No.) W.C. <br /> <br />2' OFFSET <br />CHARLES R. SWART <br />SURVEYOR <br />and with the point number shown on the plat and cited herein. <br />Bearings are based on the center line bearing of State Highway <br />No. 21 as shown on the right of way map of the Texas Highway <br />Department dated March 1937, as the center line was found marked <br />on the ground between stations 129 + 53 and 158 + 10. The point <br />cited herein as the West Reference Mark (point 50) is a 3/8 inch <br />diameter drill hole near the west end of the concrete parking <br />ramp, and 9.5 feet north of the south edge of the ramp. The <br />point cited herein as the East Reference Point (point 51) is a <br />3/8 inch diameter drill hole in the concrete parking ramp <br />opposite the east legs of the old control tower, and 9.5 feet <br />north of the south edge of the ramp. From the West Reference <br />Mark, the East Reference Mark bears South 89 degrees 58 minutes <br />34 seconds East a distance of 1505.44 feet. <br />Beginning at the northwest corner of this parcel (point <br />1806), which is marked with a 3/8 inch diameter iron spike, and <br />from which the West Reference Point (point 50) bears North 00 <br />degrees 01 minute 26 seconds East a distance of 226.92 feet and <br />thence North 89 degrees 58 minutes 34 seconds West a distance of <br />419.12 feet. From point 1806 an aluminum capped iron witness <br />monument (point 1810) bears North 00 degrees 01 minutes 26 <br />seconds East a distance of 2.00 feet. <br />Thence, from the point of beginning, South 89 degrees 58 <br />minutes 34 seconds East along the north line of this parcel a <br />distance of 70.00 feet to the northeast corner (point 1807) of <br />this parcel, which is marked with a 3/8 inch diameter iron spike, <br />from which an aluminum capped iron monument (point 1811) bears <br />North 00 degrees 01 minutes 26 seconds East a distance of 2.00 <br />feet; <br />thence South 00 degrees 01 minute 26 seconds West along the <br />east line of this parcel a distance of 60.00 feet to the <br />southeast corner (point 1808) of this parcel, which is marked <br />with a 3/8 inch diameter iron spike, from which an aluminum <br />capped iron witness monument (point 1812) bears South 00 degrees <br />01 minute 26 seconds West a distance of 2.00 feet; <br />thence North 89 degrees 58 minutes 34 seconds West along the <br />south line of this parcel a distance of 70.00 feet to the <br />southwest corner (point 1809) of this parcel, which is marked <br />with a 3/8 inch diameter iron spike, from which an aluminum <br />capped iron witness monument (point 1813) bears South 00 degrees <br />01 minute 26 seconds West a distance of 2.00 feet; <br />thence North 00 degrees 01 minutes 26 seconds East along the <br />west line of this parcel a distance of 60.00 feet to the point of <br />beginning. <br /> <br />********** <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />I, CHARLES R.
