<br />64. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999 - 123R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br />APPROVING THE LEASE OF A TRACT OF <br />REAL PROPERTY AT THE SAN MARCOS <br />MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TO DON SIMONS D/B/A <br />SIMONS BUILDING CORPORATION; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN <br />THE LEASE; AND DECLARINGAN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. Don Simons, d/b/a Simons Building Corporation, proposes to lease airport property <br />for the purpose of constructing a building used and occupied for the business of aircraft <br />storage, maintenance, repair, restoration and sales. <br /> <br />2. The Airport Commission reviewed this request on May 4, 1999, and they <br />unanimously recommended approval of the new lease. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached Lease of Airport Property for construction of Business <br />Facilities between the City and Don Simons, d/b/a Simons Building Corporation is <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D, Gilley, is authorized to execute the new <br />lease on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3. The approval granted in this resolution is effective only if the lease is <br />executed by all parties within 30 days after the date of this resolution. <br /> <br />PART 4. <br />passage. <br /> <br />That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 14th day of <br /> <br />June <br /> <br />1999. <br /> <br />~~.~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
