<br />85. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999- 128 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A LETTER <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND SEVERN TRENT <br />ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY, INC., TO EXTEND THE ANNUAL <br />CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF ANALYTICAL SERVICES FOR THE <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On July 13, 1998 the City of San Marcos entered into a contract for the <br />provision of analytical services (the "Contract") with Severn Trent Environmental <br />Laboratory, Inc. <br /> <br />2. Both parties agree to an extension of the Contract for an additional year <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached letter agreement between the City of San Marcos and <br />Severn Trent Environmental Laboratory, Inc. to extend the term of the Contract is <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
