Lee Porterfield, 2520 Summit Ridge, addressed the Council and asked that they continue to fund <br />the first time homebuyers' incentive program. <br />Betsy Robertson, 1410 Progress, addressed the Council regarding the creation of a community <br />garden in the Alamo St area and asked that they approve the funding. <br />Karen Mead, address inaudible, addressed the Council regarding the approval of funds for <br />Conway Park improvements and asked for positive consideration. <br />Stacy Green, 801 River Road, addressed the Council regarding the approval of funds for Conway <br />Park improvements and asked for positive consideration. <br />Ramona Cueves, 801 River Road #198, addressed the Council regarding the approval of funds <br />for Conway Park improvements and asked for positive consideration. She also stated that they <br />were in need of speed bumps in this area. <br />Diane McCabe, 1315 Alamo St, spoke in favor of the creation and funding of a community <br />garden on Alamo St, and asked for Council's positive consideration. <br />Amy (last name unknown), 1506 IH 35, addressed the Council regarding the approval of funds <br />for Conway Park improvements and asked for positive consideration. <br />Sheila Torres - Blank, 117 W. Hillcrest, spoke in favor of the creation and funding for a <br />community garden on Alamo St. <br />Meredith Murray, 102 Barkley, spoke in favor of the creation and funding for a community <br />garden on Alamo St. <br />Benito Castillo, 1458 River Road, addressed the Council regarding the approval of funds for <br />Conway Park improvements and asked for positive consideration. <br />Rosa Villanuevea, address inaudible, addressed the Council regarding the approval of funds for <br />Conway Park improvements and asked for positive consideration. <br />There being no other comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 7:34 p.m. <br />NON CONSENT AGENDA <br />21. Consider approval of Ordinance 2012 -23, on the first of two readings, amending the <br />Traffic Register maintained under Section 82.067 of the San Marcos City Code to install <br />the "No Parking, Monday — Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m." parking restrictions on 1100 to <br />1200 block of Chestnut Street; and including procedural provisions. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomaides and a second by Council <br />Member Scott, the City Council voted seven (7) for and zero (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance <br />2012 -23, as previously captioned, The motion carried unanimously. <br />
