<br />158 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999- 147 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS DECLARING CERTAIN SURPLUS <br />POLICE UNIFORMS UNSERVICEABLE AND OF NO VALUE <br />TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS; AUTHORIZING THE <br />DONATION OF THESE UNIFORMS TO CHARITABLE <br />ORGANIZATIONS WITH A THRIFT SHOP AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City has in its possession certain surplus police uniforms which are no longer <br />serviceable. <br /> <br />2. The City Council wishes to donate the uniforms to a charitable organization <br />with a thrift shop. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The City Council finds and determines that certain unserviceable <br />surplus police uniforms are no longer of value to the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 2.
