<br />185 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999 - 156 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS APPROVING THE REALLOCATION OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING FROM THE FLOOD <br />MITIGATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO PHASES III AND IV OF THE <br />DOWNTOWN SIDEWALK PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On November 9, 1998 the City Council approved the reallocation of <br />$39,350.00 in Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funding from Phase III of <br />the Downtown Sidewalk Project for fiscal year 1997 to the Flood Mitigation Assistance <br />Program. <br /> <br />2. On November 9, 1998 the City Council approved the reallocation of <br />$300,000.00 in CDBG funding from Phase III of the Downtown Sidewalk Project for fiscal <br />year 1998 to the Flood Mitigation Assistance Program. <br /> <br />3. Of the reallocated funding, $104,350.00 has been awarded to applicants in <br />the Flood Assistance Program. <br /> <br />4. The City Council wishes to reallocate $35,000.00 of the remaining balance <br />of $235,150.00 in the Flood Mitigation Assistance Program to Phases III and IV of the <br />Downtown Sidewalk Project. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1.
