<br /> <br />213 <br /> <br />August 23, 1999 <br /> <br />Maintenance Management of San Marcos <br />216 North Street <br />San Marcos, Texas 78666 <br /> <br />Attn: Mr. Gene Bagwell <br /> <br />Re: Cemetery Maintenance Services <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Bagwell: <br /> <br />Please consider this letter an agreement between the City of San Marcos ("City") and <br />Maintenance Management ("Contractor") to extend the current cemetery maintenance <br />contract for an additional period of one year, as provided in the original contract which was <br />effective October 1, 1996. The renewal period shall be from October 1, 1999 to <br />September 30, 2000. <br /> <br />As stipulated in Section 5(B) of the original contract, the contract price for the renewal <br />period will reflect an increase of 1.1 % according to the Consumer Price Index for Urban <br />Wage Earners and Clerical Workers as published by the United States Department of <br />Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. <br /> <br />The Contractor agrees to maintain insurance for the duration of the renewal period in <br />compliance with the requirements of the original contract and to submit current certificates <br />as requested by the City. <br /> <br />All terms and conditions of the original contract shall remain in full force and effect for the <br />duration of the agreement. <br /> <br />Please indicate your acceptance of this agreement by counter-signing below. <br /> <br />City of San Marcos <br /> <br />Maintenance Management <br /> <br />By: ~A'AtL~ <br />Larry. ey, City Mager <br /> <br /> <br />Date: <br /> <br />Date: August 24, 1999 <br /> <br />City Hall OIl 630 East Hopkins" San Marcos, Texas 78666 .. 512/393-8150 OIl F~X 512/393-3983 <br />
