<br />80. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999- 19-6. R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.1 <br />TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN MARCOS BAPTIST <br />ACADEMY AND THE FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH FOR A <br />WATER LINE EXTENSION ON RANCH ROAD 12; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On July 26, 1999, the City entered into an agreement with the San Marcos <br />Baptist Academy and the First Christian Church under which the City extended a water <br />main to serve the Academy and church in exchange for reimbursement of the cost by <br />them. <br /> <br />2. The Extension has been completed at a cost less than that stated in the <br />agreement, and the agreement needs to be amended to reflect this reduced cost. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The Amendment NO.1 to Reimbursement Agreement attached to this <br />resolution between the City and the San Marcos Baptist Academy and the First Christian <br />Church is approved, and the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 2.
