<br />operations, lines of business, and business activities of Grantee in the City; but such grants <br />do not allow the PG&E Pipeline System or any portion thereof hereafter to be operated, <br />used or maintained as an LDC (as such term is defined above). Therefore, absent <br />separate and express city consent and agreement, no such conveyance sale, transfer, <br />lease or assignment by Grantee, as authorized herein, shall constitute or convey to any <br />buyer, transferee, lessee or assignee the right, power or privilege to operate as an LDC <br />within the City. <br /> <br />Section 14. Severability. <br /> <br />If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held to be <br />unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this <br />ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br /> <br />Section 15. Repealer. <br /> <br />All ordinances and resolution or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict with this <br />ordinance are repealed. <br /> <br />Section 16. Effective date. <br /> <br />This Ordinance will take effect after its final passage and approval, after notice of its <br />adoption is published by the city secretary in a newspaper of general circulation in the City, <br />and upon the filing by the Grantee of its written acceptance of the terms of this ordinance <br />with the city secretary. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading on <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading on <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on <br /> <br />Billy G.
