Libraries with only one employee, \vho also possesses the required skills. <br />may be exempt from attending the Foundation Seminar and Foundation Lab. <br /> <br />All applicants must indicate in their letter of intent if they plan to attend TIFTech Training (see the sample letter of <br />intent in Appendix B). This allov,:s the TIF Board to arrange for training sites located as close as possible to the <br />grant recipients. Applicants will receive a letter at a later date containing information about the times and locations <br />of the TIFTech Training, which witl probably begin in January or February :2000. <br /> <br />Library Collaboratives <br />Libraries may elect to participate in a collaborative grant project by submining an application that includes more <br />than one public library. Small libraries that do not have the resources to manage a grant themselves are <br />encouraged to join a collaborative. Each member of the collaborative must be eligible for TIF Board funds <br />as established in this RFP. Collaborative applications must choose one library of the collaborative to be the <br />recipient ofTIFB funds. The Authorized Official, Financial Officer, and Project Director for the grant must be <br />selected from this library.
