The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 114.029 <br />of the San Marcos City Code, is amended to rezone the following real property which is <br />presently zoned "DP-2" Two-Family Dwelling District (Medium Density) and "C" <br />Commercial District to "MF-3" Multi-Family District (High Density): <br /> <br />Street address: <br /> <br />Terminus of Leah Avenue near Central Texas Medical Center <br /> <br />Size: 5.52 acres. <br /> <br />Legal description: See the metes and bounds description attached as Exhibit B. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 474, page 718, Hays County Deed Records. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 114.029 <br />of the San Marcos City Code, is amended to reconfigure the boundaries of the following <br />real property which is presently zoned as IMF-3" Multi-Family District (High Density), and <br />which will retain this zoning designation. <br /> <br />Street address: <br /> <br />Terminus of Leah Avenue near Central Texas Medical Center <br /> <br />Size: 4.98 acres. <br /> <br />Legal description: See the metes and bounds description attached as Exhibit D. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 474, page 718, Hays County Deed Records. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. The Future Land Use Plan of the San Marcos Horizons City Master <br />Plan is revised to conform to this zoning map amendment. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance commits a <br />misdemeanor and is subject to the penalty provided in Section 1.015 of the San Marcos <br />City Code upon conviction. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. After its original passage, this ordinance will be subject to <br />reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting. If this ordinance is not <br />reconsidered, or if it is reconsidered and approved, notice of its adoption will be published <br />in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. This ordinance will take effect upon <br />publication of this notice. <br />
