In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br />of the City's 1997-98 budget. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Budget Ordinance for the 1997-98 Fiscal Year is amended <br />as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for a car allowance fo the <br />City Manager. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. These revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br />budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1997-98, are approved and <br />adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance will take effect 10 days after the date of its final <br />passage, and the City Secretary will be publish notice of its adoption in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in the City. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading January 26, 1998. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading February 9, 1998. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED February 23, 1998. <br /> <br />~~~~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
