1

Plats and fieldnotes will be prepared for private ownership tracts where needed. We
estimate 8 owners for alternate 1 and 4 for alternate 2. Any additional plats will be
provided on a cost per plat basis.

We will help the geotech consultant with locating the route for borings and/or locate
and tie in the bore holes after they have been drilled.

The final designed route control will be staked with iron rods at all PI's. Pc's. PT's.
We will also set iron pins at every 500 foot station. We will provide coordinates and
elevations on each point. We will also set benchmarks about every 1500 feet along the
route, This proposal does not include any staking for actual construction. but we will
be happy to submit a separate proposal when plans are finalized.

The fee for this work will be 527.500 for alternate 1 and S19.500 for alternate 2. This
cost includes the easement documents mentioned above. The easements are estimated
at $900.00 each. The cost will decrease if the route falls within the public right-of-way
and easements are not needed.

As an alternative we suggest the route be mapped by aerial photography and
supplemented with on the ground surveying at critical points_ The scope of work will
remain essentially the same. Aerial mapping will produce a base map of 1- equals 100'
in CADD format that can be plotted at any scale. It will also include a DTM file that
will allow cross sections to be taken at any point along the route aooior provide a
profile along the design centerline. The base map can be used with plan and profile
sheets and can be a distinct advantage and time saver. The file will be provided as a
cominuous map and sheets can be cut as desired.

Th~ fee ro:th~ aerial mapping alternative will be S 2l.700 for alternate 1 and 515,400
fCli- J;c,;;rnate 2.

\Ve can begin work within 1 week of authorization to proceed. arJ can complete the
g.rl.lund ~llrv~y within two weeks thereof.
