<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />B. Operation of Center. The Chamber agrees to use CVB Funds for the operation and <br />maintenance of the Tourist Center in accordance with the following: <br />1. The Chamber will endeavor to provide paid and volunteer staffing so that the <br />Tourist Center is open to the public during the following times: <br />Monday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br />Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. <br />During these times, the staff will provide assistance to visitors, respond to telephone <br />inquiries, distribute tourism materials and information, maintain records, stock brochure <br />racks and bins, and perform other services and tasks as directed by the Chamber. <br />2. The Chamber shall provide and maintain suitable equipment and materials for <br />effective operation ofthe Tourist Center, including desks, counters, chairs, brochure racks <br />and bins, computer, copier and telephone equipment, and office supplies. <br />3. The Chamber shall provide routine maintenance of the Tourist Center, including <br />custodial services and minor repairs. If a need arises for maintenance of a non-routine nature <br />(costing $1,000 or more), the Chamber will submit the request to the City, and the City will <br />evaluate and take action to provide the maintenance. The City will provide routine landscape <br />maintenance in the area of the Tourist Center. <br />4. The Chamber shall maintain commercial general liability insurance with respect to <br />its operations and activities at the Tourist Center, and the Chamber shall provide casualty <br />insurance covering the contents of the Tourist Center. The Chamber shall provide certificates <br />to the City verifying these coverages at the City's request. <br />5. The Chamber shall not make any changes of a permanent nature to the Tourist <br />Center building, or install or remove any permanent fixtures in or from the Tourist Center <br />building, without the written approval of the City. <br />6. The Chamber shall pay all bills for utility services supplied to the Tourist Center. <br />4. CONVENTION AND VISITOR BUREAU ADVISORY BOARD <br />A. The CVB Advisory Board will monitor the Chamber's performance under this Contract. <br />B. The CVB Advisory Board shall be responsible for developing and making a <br />recommendation to the Chamber Board for approval of the budget for this Contract and for any <br />extension or renewal of this Contract before the Chamber submits the budget to the City Council. <br /> <br />3 <br />
