<br />447 <br /> <br />South Hays County Fire Station <br />3300 Hilliard Road <br />San Marcos, Texas <br /> <br />Section 4. It is agreed that all expenses incurred in the administration of this election <br />where the City and the County are involved will be shared equally by the City and the County; <br />and where only the County is involved, the expenditures will be paid by the County, and where <br />only the City is involved will be paid by the City. Should construction of voting signs or booths <br />be necessary, these costs will be shared in the same manner as expenses incurred in the <br />administration of the election. Labor costs for construction if provided by the City or the County <br />will be considered as part of the costs to be shared. <br /> <br />Section 5. It is agreed by the parties to this Agreement that a common ballot will be used <br />for the joint election. The Mobile Ballot Boxes ("MBBS") containing the voted ballots for the <br />election will be delivered by the Precinct Judges to the Hays County Election Administrator's <br />office at 401-C Broadway, San Marcos, Texas and the MBBS will remain in the Hays County <br />Election Administrator's custody, except that the County. The County agrees to provide the City <br />with the necessary documentation, if requested, for canvass of the election or in the event the <br />voted ballots are required for a recount or any court proceedings in which the City may be a <br />party. The County agrees to maintain custody of the MBBS containing the voted ballots for the <br />period of time prescribed by the Texas Election Code. <br /> <br />Section 6. Joint returns of the elections will be provided by the Central Counting Station <br />to the Mayor, City Clerk, County Judge and the County Election Administrator following the <br />tabulation. The City and the County will each maintain one original of the election returns. <br /> <br />Section 7. To facilitate the administration of the election, and as a convenience to the <br />voters, during the early voting period of October 23, 2006 through November 3, 2006, the City <br />agrees to designate the Hays County Election Administrator's Office, 401-C Broadway, San <br />Marcos, Texas as the main early voting polling place for the City. Furthermore, the City agrees <br />to designate the following temporary branch early polling places in accordance with Section <br />85.062, Election Code, V.T.C.A.: <br /> <br />San Marcos City Hall <br />630 E.
