c) Provide the City with the power draw requirements for each installation. The <br />Contractor will provide wiring and its installation and connection from the point of <br />power supply to the installed equipment. <br />Base Station System: <br />1.2.5 Utilize the Emergency Operations Center ( "EOC ") /911 Communications Center located <br />at 2300 S. IH 35, San Marcos, Texas and Fire Station 5 located at 100 Carlson Circle, San <br />Marcos, Texas as the base station locations for system activation and /or testing. <br />1.2.6 Equip the base station location with Contractor supplied Goods and other equipment <br />necessary for a complete operating System. <br />1.2.7 Install the main components of the System, including monitor, printer, and radio in each <br />location identified in 1.2.5. The Contractor will ensure that the base station radio and interfaced <br />displays will provide a visual display of System activation address codes for operator verification <br />of correct activation of remote sites. The radio and status display will generate a unique <br />identification code for each siren and that code will be included in each transaction recorded or <br />reported to the City. <br />Central Control Computer(s): <br />1.2.8 Furnish all desktop computing hardware and system software in accordance with City <br />standards for desktop systems and printers. The City standard is a dual core processor, 2GB <br />RAM, 120GB — 250 GB hard drive, 256 MB of Video Ram, Network Controller, minimum of <br />19" monitor, keyboard & mouse. Printers will be Network compatible laser printers. <br />1.2.9. Protect two (2) siren system control computer(s) with a power backup system to ensure <br />proper and complete operation of the computer at all times and that no data is lost during a power <br />outage or servicing of the unit. <br />1.2.10. Contractor furnished computers will employ multiple back -up levels. The Contractor <br />will ensure that all records will be stored in a manner sufficient to ensure timely reporting, data <br />integrity, and record completeness. <br />Radio Controls: <br />1.2.11 Ensure that all sirens are controlled and activated by radio, using Dual Tone Multi <br />Frequency ( "DTMF ") or faster encoding. The Contractor will include status reporting and <br />operational verification from each siren unit in the two -way radio communication between each <br />siren and base station. In addition, the Contractor assures the City that the radio control system <br />will be capable of activating the System and will work with the radio supplier to confirm <br />Outdoor Siren Warning System Agreement 6/2012 <br />i <br />
