<br />I <br /> <br />responsibility for the materials. <br /> <br />1.1.6 Engineer will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Engineer will <br />advise the City of data and information the Engineer needs to perform its services and the <br />Engineer will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble this data <br />and information. <br /> <br />1.2 TASK 1 - TOPOGRAPHIC AND EASEMENT SURVEY SERVICES <br /> <br />The Engineer will perform topographic surveying services along the route of the Project for <br />Phase 2 only, as follows: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Prepare preliminary base map based upon deed records. In addition, the Engineer will <br />perform topographic survey along the proposed waterline alignment for a width of 50 feet on <br />either side of the waterline with sufficient detail to prepare final construction plans and profiles <br />and obtain permits. <br /> <br />1.2.2 Prepare metes and bounds descriptions and exhibits for permanent and temporary <br />construction easements through four private parcels of land. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> <br />The Engineer will perform preliminary design services for Phase 2 only, as follows: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Inventory major public works systems of the Project area using City records, other utility <br />records, topographic surveys, and Engineer's observation. The Engineer will study utilities and <br />facilities including, but not limited to water, wastewater, streets, drainage, electric, gas, <br />telephone, and cable TV. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Analyze the major systems that are part of this project with regards to incorporation, <br />replacement, relocation, or modification of public works systems and environmental Impact and <br />pollution control during construction. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Keep other major utility providers (electric, gas, telephone, cable TV, other) informed of <br />the progress of the Project. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Prepare exhibits and scope of work as necessary to allow environmental and <br />archeological services to be contracted for separately by the City. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Prepare preliminary design document of waterline plan and profile, easement acquisition <br />requirements and anticipated pollution controls during construction. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Prepare and submit a preliminary design report to the City consisting of the Engineer's <br />recommendations for review and comment.
