<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-167 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING THE VOTING <br />DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE VOTING DELEGATE FOR THE <br />CITY AT THE ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING OF THE <br />NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES TO BE HELD IN DECEMBER, <br />2006; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ANY <br />DOCUMENTS INCIDENT TO THE DESIGNATION; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos, Texas, is a member of the National League of Cities, and is <br />entitled to participate in the annual business meeting ofthe National League of Cities is to be held in <br />December, 2006 in Reno, Nevada. <br /> <br />2. The City Council wishes to designate its voting delegate for this meeting. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. Susan Narvaiz is designated as the voting delegate for the City, and <br />Chris Jones is designated as the alternate voting delegate for the City at the annual <br />business meeting of the National League of Cities to be held in December, 2006. <br /> <br />PART 2. The Mayor, Susan Narvaiz, is authorized to execute any documents incident to <br />these designations. <br /> <br />PART 3.
