CSJ # 0914 -33 -063 <br />District # 14 - Austin <br />Code Chart 64 # 37950 <br />Project: IH 35 San Marcos Green <br />Ribbon Project <br />Not Research and Development <br />Attachment A <br />PAYMENT PROVISION AND WORK RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A. In the event the State completes the Landscape Project, The Local Government agrees to: <br />1. Furnish seven taps and meters valued at $2,000 a piece. <br />2. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials and incidentals to provide for maintenance <br />activities after the project is complete, for the life of the Project, which shall include but <br />not be limited to the following: <br />Plant Maintenance <br />For the work of plant maintenance, all reasonable means shall be employed to preserve <br />the plants and vegetative material existing within the project limits in a healthy and <br />vigorous growing condition. This maintenance activity shall include but not be limited to <br />the following: <br />(1) Monitor plant condition weekly. <br />(2) Provide vegetative watering of plant material. <br />(3) Plant bed and basin maintenance including shaping, weed control, mulch layer, <br />and ring construction. <br />(4) Plant replacement. <br />(5) Insect, Disease, and Animal Control. <br />(6) Fertilizing. <br />(7) Restaking, Reguying, Rebracing and /or Removal of Staking, Guying, and Bracing. <br />(8) Pruning. <br />Irrigation System Operation and Maintenance <br />Permanent irrigation system operation and. maintenance shall include, but not be limited <br />to, water, monitoring, adjustment, repair, and proper operation of existing irrigation <br />system as required to ensure adequate moisture to the plant material existing on site. <br />All replacement parts shall be of the same type and manufacturer as originally installed. <br />Substitute parts may be allowed with the approval of the State, prior to replacement. <br />B. The State agrees to: <br />1. Allow the Local Government to utilize the right -of -way for all aspects of Project <br />Maintenance described in this Agreement after Project installation is complete. <br />AFA— LPAFA_VolProj Page 1 of 1 Revised 04/01/11 <br />
